Welcome

Immanuel Lutheran Church is conservative, confessional, and evangelical.
* Conservative - We believe the Bible is the Word of God without error and the "only judge, rule and norm according to which as the only touchstone all doctrines should and must be understood and judged as good or evil, right or wrong" (Formula of Concord: Epitome, Rule and Norm).
* Confessional - We believe the Apostolic, Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds; the unaltered Augsburg Confession; and Martin Luther's Small Catechism are true summaries of the Word of God.
* Evangelical - We believe God chooses us to be in fellowship with Him and made us His best friends again when Jesus died the death we deserve because of our sin and forgave our sin because of His love, mercy, and grace. We believe God gives us the gift of faith through the Means of Grace. We believe salvation is ours when we by faith trust God's promises of forgiveness and life.

Announcements

  • Stones Cry worship service

Service with Stones Cry, November 26th, 11 AM. The music will include worship and inspirational songs in an easy listening style. 1999 was the beginning of "Sound Of The Trumpet" and is now "Stones Cry." The inspiration for the new name comes from Luke 19:40. The ministry now consists of Joel Finnesgard, his wife (of 33 years) June and their children Joy (17) and Josiah (15). Joel is still playing the trumpet as well as electric guitar and keyboards. June is on drums, percussion and some singing. Joy is providing lead vocal along with acoustic guitar and keyboard. Josiah is playing the bass and singing. The Finnesgards enjoy sharing this ministry throughout much of the country. Most winters find them in the southern half of the country and other regions during the rest of the year. More information, video, audio and concert dates can be found at www.stonescry.net. You can also follow them on Facebook at Stones Cry and Instagram @stonescryofficial A free-will offering will be received for Stones Cry.
